TruePermit

For IFTA preparers

Your clients' returns from the files they already send you

You prepare IFTA for carriers, so you know where the hours go: re-keying miles by state and gallons by state, then checking the MPG before anything is filed. TruePermit does that part from the client's own files.

1

Add a client by USDOT

Name, home state and fleet size come from the FMCSA register. Each client is its own account, kept apart from the others.

2

Drop in the two files they send you

The ELD's miles-by-state export and the fuel-card statement, as they come out — CSV, Excel, or a PDF statement. Columns are found by meaning, kilometres and litres converted.

3

Review, then file

The IFTA return state by state in the form's own column order, every weight-distance return from the same miles (NY, KY, NM, OR, CT), the filing packet, and the lines an auditor would question.

Straight talk

Other preparer tools exist and some cost less per return. Where TruePermit differs: it reads the files as the ELD and the card export them (and PDF fuel statements), the weight-distance returns come out of the same run, and every return carries the audit checks. A client on a paid TruePermit plan of their own doesn't count against your trucks.

We are a small company run by its founder; payments run through Dodo Payments as merchant of record, and support is by email within one business day. Rather refer carriers than file for them? See the partner program.
