Terms of Service

TruePermit helps US motor carriers track compliance obligations and prepare IFTA, IRP, state weight-distance taxes, permits, and federal filings. The service surfaces what applies to you, computes amounts owed from the data you provide, and tracks deadlines.

TruePermit provides compliance tracking and preparation — not legal or tax advice. Computed figures are prepared estimates based on the information you enter and published rate schedules; they are not submitted on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and filing your own returns and for confirming current rates and rules with the relevant agency before filing.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the carrier, fleet, trip, and fuel data you enter, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. The quality of TruePermit's output depends on the accuracy and completeness of your inputs.

Paid plans are billed monthly. Each plan includes a number of trucks, with per-truck overage beyond that. Deterministic compliance and tax calculations are unlimited; the AI Copilot and document extraction draw on a monthly AI-credit allowance, with optional top-up packs. See pricing for current details. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, no unauthorized access to other carriers' data, and no use that violates applicable law.

The service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available but do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that every figure is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, TruePermit is not liable for penalties, interest, or losses arising from filings you make — you remain the filer of record.
